On Monday, October 9 the first STEM week began, during which the project team plane to present the results of the project achieved so far to a majority of our students with the possibility of their involvement in most activities, which will continue even more intensively after the end of the project.
On the first day, the ecological group of our school presented the newly built STEM garden to the third-grade students of our home school, Stupnik Regional School and Ježdovec Regional School with their teachers.
The eighth-grade students of the Ecological group prepared a series of fun activities for the students under the guidance of mentor Anamaria Kirac. They took the third graders through the school garden and introduced them to different types of plants. They held a fun workshop in the garden where students were tasked with drawing their favorite plant and the most interesting STEM activity of the day.
In the attached video, you can see how they had fun and learned something new about our planet in an interesting way!
