Primary school Vugrovec-Kašina is one of the oldest public primary schools in the north-western part of Zagreb, that is proud of its rich cultural history and local traditions.
The central school and three branch schools employ 68 teachers that teach around 600 students, over 30 SEN students (age 6-14 years old).
Primary school Nikola Tesla Zagreb
Primary school Nikola Tesla Zagreb was designed as a unique type of honeycomb-shaped building in 1979. The classrooms have a pentagonal floor plan with day lighting on two sides for students.
Nowdays school, that proudly caries the name of Croatian inventor and physicist Nikola Tesla, has around 600 students and employs 40 teachers.
Development Agency Zagreb
Zagreb Development Agency for Coordination and Encouragement of Regional Development was established on the basis of the Act on Regional Development of the Republic of Croatia to perform the duties of a regional coordinator acting as one of the most important institutions focused on projects and development of the City of Zagreb.
Åpenhet joined the project as a partner from the donor country aiming to establish the bilateral cooperation of Croatian teachers and educational workers with experts, schools and institutions in Norway that are most relevant for strengthening their competences in STEM teaching and creation of innovative teaching materials.
