On Tuesday, May 16, as part of the Active Citizenship activity of the Be a STEMfluencer project, members od the Student Cooperative tried their hand at selling their hand-made products.
On the day of the parish celebration, despite the heavy rain, the STEMfluencers appropriately arranged a stand where they offered: scented lavender bags, scented face creams, scented soaps, lip balms, salve, hearts, crosses and other souveniers. All the mentioned products were made by members of the Ecological Group and the Young Chemists group under the leadership of profesor Ana Ćurković and members of the Modellers group under the leadership of profesor Ivan Sunak.
Among the first customers were: the director of Primary School Lučko, M.Sc. sc. Pavo Šimović, pastor M.Sc. sc. Dubravko Škrlin Hren and the Mayor of the Municipality of Stupnik Mr. Bruno Perković. A considerable number of other customers including parents, students and other citizens gathered and showed their interest in products.
The cooperative members skillfully and proudly offered their products and proved to be good traders by presenting and selling their products, explaining their engagement and involvement in the project. We wish them much success in their future activities.
