Five teachers, members of the Be a STEMfluencer project team started education on the topic of reading and writing for critical thinking in the duration of 80 hours through 8 workshops. The seminar "Reading and writing for critical thinking" has been held in Croatia since 1998 and it prooves to be a popular workshop attended by more than 3000 teachers from all educational levels. This seminar brings a special teaching framework that contains 80 different techniques and methods that can be used in the class, enabling students to adopt the teaching content consciously, with understanding and active participation.
The methods presented to teachers within this seminar improves their ability and skill to organize their lectures and teaching materials in a way that every student is involved, that the student's attention is maintained, motivation increased and critical thinking even more developed.
