The works on the construction of the school STEM garden were completed on Friday, September 29th when the official handower of works was signed by the school director Mr. Pavo Šimović and the procurator of the company LIPA L.P. d.o.o..
The STEM garden integrates plantations of spices, aromatic and ornamental plants and will serve for educational purposes, especially for yunger students. In the center of the garden there is a workspace that will be used as an outdoor classroom. The students happily welcomed the arrangement of their school garden, which represents a big step forward in the series of school activities. Students will participate in the mainteneince of the garden by watering the plantations and other tasks depending on the season.
Aromatic plants and herbs from the garden will be used for the needs of the student cooperative ŠTIGLIĆI.
